Do I need a static/dedicated IP address?

Dedicated IP's are only needed if you want to install an SSL certificate for your website -- so customers can access it at the secure "https://.." port instead just "http://". And this again really only makes sense if you do credit card processing or other sensitive data processing at your own domain's website directly (NOT if you use 3rd party billing services such as PayPal, Google Checkout, or 2CheckOut). And yes, we can get you dedicated IPs for a small monthly add-on fee.

The other case where you might need 2 dedicated IPs is when you want to run your own private nameservers. Depending on your plan and the hosting control panel you are on, we might be able to set this up for you as well -- just contact us.
